Acadia National Park Residency, 2014. In early 2014, I was selected as one of the artists in residence at Acadia National Park, Maine. For four weeks I had the privilege of living and working in the park.
The residency lasted from early October to early November. It was a goal of mine to shoot the fall foliage that New England is know for. I showed up in time for peak colors and over the course of the residency got to see the coastal park transition from fall to winter. Housed on the Schoodic Peninsula, the quiet side of the park, I got to explore the coast and woods every day.
